Donte Jackson has been very good this year, if Aranda thinks he's better at the position I trust him. He knows more than any of us on here.

Good hair doesn't mean good performance. But he is stylin'.

If he cut his hair he'd weigh a buck O five and run a 4 flat 40!

In the beginning of the season KT had great cover skills but would never get his head around to look for the ball and the receivers would always make plays. I do agree that he should be back in the game cause donte has been getting burned. I am not sure how the fastest person on the field gets beat so much. Maybe KT is having some issues that Coach O and company dont like, whether it is attitude or academics.

You'll are crazy he's been great this year besides this past weekend. I told everyone it was his worst game of the season, but I definitely think he's worthy to be a starter and DBU quality

Tolliver wasn't dressed out I believe

Because Kevin Tolliver is a reluctant tackler and spent the majority of the first 3 games this year with his back turned to the quarterback while throws were completed all over him.

Sure is interesting. Tolliver started every game last yr as a FR, now he can't seem to get on the field. Heck when UF converted a big 3d down in the 2d half, Paris was getting beat in coverage.
Jackson is a penalty magnet, and too often is giving up big plays. Next yr's secondary is going to be suspect w/o improved play across the board.

Because Kevin Tolliver, still after two years, can't turn his head around.

He started every game as a true freshman.
It's something more there than just not seeing the ball in the air (conduct maybe)?
Read between the lines. fricking Ed Paris got a few reps Saturday

Hate to say this, and I'm sure I'll get bashed by some because of the love for Corey Raymond, but ever since Ron Cooper left the program in 2011 the DBs have not been developed at an elite level or at least seem to underperform their potential. Specifically playing the ball in the air has lacked and communicating coverage responsibilities and situational coverage (like when to play more aggressive and when you can't get beat).
Tre White has been really good since his freshmen year (Gotta give credit to Raymond), but otherwise it seem that much of the talented DBs have underperformed while in college. Maybe it's just the injuries or the chemistry of the team, but I think Cooper is the better coach while Raymond is the better person.
Of course, LSU's DBs are not terrible or even mediocre... They are good or very good, so I'm being picky, but DBs were elite under Cooper. Now, They seem to underperform while at LSU and outperform their college production when they get to the NFL.
Would love to see some improvement in situational coverage and ball skills next year. Whether it takes swallowing pride and attending some NFL coaching clinics or discovering the right team chemistry.
