Because it's a practice.
Did I mention it's a PRACTICE?
For the record, it's a practice.
Just to be clear, it's a practice!!!

I am a huge LSU fan and alumnus and make all 12 games every year and I wouldn;t walk across the street to watch them practice. Why? Because it's a PRACTICE.

Hope that helps to answer your inquiry.

I didnt go because I was in NOLA getting insanely hammered while on a hunt for Easter kegs. That trumps practice IMO

what is an easter keg? Is it painted?

maybe because it was on tv???

plus people would rather go fishing, not to mention its turkey season.

the biggest thing is that it was on t.v. and lsu's baseball game was on t.v. as well and that was an sec game not a practice.

Is your only purpose on the board to flame LSU and the SEC?

I'm gonna guess most people like competition. Practice is just that..sure you have practice competition for roster spots and stuff...but part of the fun of sports is cheering for and against someone....it's fun to feel as if you are part of the game...spring practice doesn't offer that. So i've never went to a spring game..because it's in middle of march madness...which I can cheer or pull against someone.

How much were tickets. I know when OSU had like 100K it was 5 bucks and students were free and almost all the 5 bucks went to charity.

Makes sense, if other major schools had low turnouts.

I don't knwow the numbers of all the major southeast schools. Maybe there is just a few major BS schools in the southeast and southwest than have very large turnouts.

Might be b/c of lack of marketing. Those with large turnouts might really market the games.

Oh i'm not saying other schools may have more obsessed fan bases. LSU is very fickle when it comes to that. When we're good (or perceived as good) have a great turn out. If we are bad (are enough people claim we are bad) even TS on a sat night is 3/4 empty.
I was just giving my reason for the spring game. I just have better things to do than watch a practice. I mean..td.com isn't gonna post on itself.

if it's below 75 degrees or greater than 30% chance of rain or if we are losing by more than 10 or if JL is at QB then yes you are correct.

Ehh? Most of the time, people wait til the end of the third to leave. Do USC fans stay the entire time for a 50-3 blowout? That doesn't make them better fans, it makes them idiots.

Most fan bases don't leave during a game still ni question though. Last year LSU had no defense for that.
