Yes the goal this year was to make the CFP. & that means we win the SEC?
Now is it likely we can actually beat a Texas, Bama, or A&M in Atlanta? That’s a different discussion after the next 3 games

Obviously beating the #11 ranked team currently projected to be in the playoffs which OP is certain we could not beat any playoff team or even keep it close didn't matter.

I get being down. But come on man. At this point why are you even a fan or posting here? I would much rather make it to the playoffs. With your mentality then what is the point even playing every year? Yeah I want to win a national championship every year as well but realistically that is not going to happen. So I guess when we have a sort of rebuilding year we should just forfeit all of our games then huh? Seriously?

Why not? It's a discussion board. It's a more realistic topic of conversation than the 800 threads calling for Kelly to get fired after year 3 of a 10 year contract.
I'd rather watch them lose by 30 in a playoff game vs. watching them win by 30 in a meaningless bowl game in Florida or Texas where 1/3 of each team "opts out" because they care about the game less than the fans

do what? you asked about why are people brainstorming about playoff scenarios? idk, maybe because we're fans of the team. doens't mean we're expecting it. doens't mean we think IF we made it we'd win a game. but to sit here and completely give up on everything says more about you and your laughing emoji's.
what fan would not want to see LSU win out, somehow sneak into the seccg, win or lose, thats an extra game for players, and another game for me to watch. oh the horror if we lose..................and, if we won, since you brought up playoffs, who cares if we got crushed in round 1? you don't know if that happens if you get there. but i can promise you one thing, you'll get your wish of not seeing them get slaughtered in the playoffs if we don't make it.....and you sound like the type of fan who is just sitting back waiting for that to happen,
i'll hope we go 3-0, sneak our way into the seccg and see where the cards lay after that.
