Dutton? Fontenot? Taylor?

Who do y’all think? Let’s hope he’s successful. Looks like Moneys been moved to relief duties

I agree, floyd probably gets another chance. Always can throw fontenot in there too.

It’ll be Floyd. Need to keep Hasty as a lefty out the pen.

Has Floyd showed command with his breaking pitch? If not, I don’t like those odds

He actually has started to in his last 2 appearances. He’s the odds on favorite to be the Saturday guy this week is my guess.

The others suggested are too valuable out of the pen. Floyd seems like the obvious choice.

Since Floyd didn't pitch tonight I'd say probably he'd get the nod! Hope he can get his curve over consistently!

I’d like to see Hasty get a start - last two weekends he’s been in really early anyway.

Hasty should start on Sunday. He could give you a few pitches on Friday if you need him early and come back Sunday. Just like he did at Alabama. Hasty got a couple of outs on Friday then pitched 4 innings on Sunday. Like Jared Bradford and Louis Coleman did.

Hasty coming out of the pen gives you the option to use him twice in a weekend, particularly in L on L if Cooper isn’t available.

I don’t like Hasty starting. You’re only getting so many innings out of him, so I’d rather bring him in when we have a couple of lefties and take him out after a lefty. That maximizes matchups for a team that only has two reliable lefties.

I think Fontenot needs to be given a chance to start.

Cooper is a guy that Jay trusts to throw strikes. Whether Jay values that more in the pen or to eat up front end innings is the question. Other guys mentioned have had issues throwing strikes at times. Cooper always throws strikes. Leads the team in appearances, only 4 walks all season. I like the idea of having Cooper for multiple appearances in a weekend but you may not need as many arms if he can chew some innings while the offense settles in early in the game.

Money gets 1 more Saturday start to prove himself. Last night was no different than a bullpen session and a chance to get some confidence back.

I disagree. He’s had multiple chances lately to get back on track and has not looked sharp at all. Bring him in for long relief since he’s already stretched out if a starter gets knocked around early. Maybe coming out of the bullpen will get him back in a rhythm.

It will be Floyd. I'm surprised that Hellmers is getting absolutely zero run, even in the mid-week.

He has 1 start and 23 relief appearances. Not really sure anything is in question B
