So who is QB3?

Brennan, Johnson and Nuss are the only QBs listed on the roster. I read LSU can't take on any transfers. Gonna audition for some walk on? 
Best case scenario we never think about 3rd string QB but we got there just last year through injuries and non-performance. Are we looking at Jontre Kirklin playing QB?

With NIL, can't we figure a way to cover the costs for an incoming QB transfer that would otherwise get a scholarship?

If anything run some sort of packages and limited reps with Kirklin at practice. You pray it never comes down to it and you have to use Kirklin as your starting QB. Run some packages in practice and hopefully Max is healthy all year, and you just added some good packages with Kirklin in as QB.

Interesting thought, but honestly if we get down to a 3rd, which would really be a 4th option, aren’t we pretty much screwed anyway? What’s the point

I expect the worst. Even if Brennan came back early I would wonder how long before any other injuries. He was already coming off the other freak injury.

What if Max Johnson goes down week 1 against UCLA? You gonna bank on Nuss playing the whole season after that and staying healthy? You need a 3rd guy there for a complete “nightmare scenario” basically. We don’t need a 3rd QB because of lack of talent, you want a 3rd QB option in case the complete disaster goes down.
