Everything starts and stops with coaching.

It’s not coaching, this team is 15-4 and 6-0 in league play and y’all bitching about coaching? We have a 6 man rotation so this is going to happen a lot, especially towards the back end of the season.

This team has limitations. Coach Wade knows it and we all know it

You guys can thank Alleva for costing at least 2 elite prospects last signing class.

Bottom line is Coach Wade has done an outstanding job with this team and the team is winning so everyone can stfu with their criticism of him.

What collapse are you referring to exactly? I thought we won...

LSU has won 8 straight games and you’re complaining

It is NOT a "collapse" if your team wins.

I watch 1-2 full college basketball games most days, Nov through March. Games are full of runs back and forth. Leads are built up and squandered in most games. This is college basketball.

We should all be pleased that our team WINS close games.

Both these last two were flukes. Here’s why.

Each game saw LSU slip into a timeout hole after LSU called two timeouts on possession-saving hustle plays. It’s rare that you spend two timeouts on these, and even more so in consecutive games.

In each case, the opponent pressed full court, and since LSU has no true PG, they’re vulnerable to pressure.

So I guess it’s Wade’s fault for not having a true PG on the team, but each ended up in a win, so until this starts costing the Tigers games, I won’t sweat it too much.

Players.
No real leadership. Ie Football.
Trendon will emerge as the leader eventually.

That was a travesty. If we're able to get 1 more big, or a true point, we would be set

We have a rotation of 6 players. It’s not that difficult to understand.

This is the answer.

We really miss Tremont's ball handling and quickness against the press. He could almost always just dribble through the press once he got the ball cleanly on the inbound

100% We don’t have a ball handler. Nor a player who could see the court like Tremont.

Even when there’s an open “corridor” for a few seconds, Javonte won’t dribble through it. He’s such a good player, but I think he’s still having difficulty adjusting to PG role.

Javonte seems to have a period In the 2nd half where he loses his focus, as PG ,for 5 or 10 minutes, I’m definitely not questioning his effort or athletic ability, he’s just playing out of position.

I wish James Bishop was more confident/more trustworthy on the court,, because he’s a better ball handler.

Need to come up with a better way of breaking the press, how do we do it?

I’ve been watching a lot of LSU running the press for a video I’m planning on doing, and I have to say for how often they run full court press themselves, and out of several different looks, it’s kind of mind boggling they looked so lost and timid when Texas went to it today.

Lack of leader and a true PG. Our squad was not ready for this year. Wade's suspension hurt us in filling the needs. We need a PG and a center.

I would say Alleva

Until Wade has a PG that values the ball and makes smart decisions depending on game situation this will continue. Up by 12 and Smart attempts an alley oop from half court over a 6'9" player. Turnover! unecessary at that point. Then stupid turnover on inbounds play. Mays letting player come from behind and steal ball. All contributed to the TX run. Then, Taylor throws inbound pass to Watford at end of game when Mays broke free behind half court line. Mays could have ran off around 5 - 8 seconds before getting fouled. If Watford misses FT then TX has more time to score. These types of decisions can lose games in the future. Hoping they get corrected but one thing for sure, no one outworks these guys. They play hard.
