Maybe the Jaguars or Jets. Hopefully the latter

I would like to see that. They could be decent to pretty good with a QB.

Face it, Flynn is a backup QB, he is not a starting QB in the NFL
the Green Bay records for most touchdowns in a game and most yards in a game isnt held by Rogers or Farve or Starr, but Flynn. 480 yards, 6 touchdowns.

there have been 14,667 NFL games played. that's around 30,000 quarterbacks, and only 13 have ever thrown for 400 yards and 6 tds in a single game:

1. Sid Luckman (1943) - 433 yds, 7 tds, 1 int, 135.4 qbr
2. Johnny Lujack (1949) - 468 yds, 6 tds, 3 int, 110.9 qbr
3. George Blanda (1961) - 418 yds, 7 tds, 1 int, 132.8 qbr
4. Y.A. Title (1962) - 505 yds, 7 tds, 0 int, 151.4 qbr
5. Tom Flores (1963) - 407 yds, 6 tds, 2 int, 113.9 qbr
6. Len Dawson (1964) - 435 yds, 6 tds, 3 int, 106.9 qbr
7. Joe Kapp (1969) - 449 yds, 7 tds, 1 int, 129.7 qbr
8. Joe Namath (1972) - 496 yds, 6 tds, 1 int, 123.5 qbr
9. Dan Marino (1986) - 448 yds, 6 tds, 2int, 112.3 qbr
10. Joe Montana (1990) - 476 yds, 6 tds, 2 int, 119.6 qbr
11. Mark Rypien (1991) - 442 yds, 6 tds, 0 int, 136.8 qbr
12. Carson Palmer (2007) - 401 yds, 6 td, 2 int, 113.4 qbr
13. Matt Flynn (2012) - 480 yards, 6 tds, 1 int, 136.4 qbr

excluding Flynn, 7 of the 12 are in the NFL hall of fame: Luckman, Blanda, Title (also from LSU, btw) Dawson, Namath, Marino, Montana.

Flores played in the AFL mostly, is the fifth leading passer of all time and one of only two players (AFL or NFL) to ever throw 5 touchdowns in back to back games.

Lujack won the Heisman but only played in the NFL for three years due to injury.

Kapp spent his first 8 years in the CFL, then went to the Vikings. in his second year, they won their first playoff game ever. he retired two years later. hes in the CFL hall of fame.

Rypien was a super bowl mvp, won 2 superbowls, and was all-pro twice.

Palmer won a Heisman, was the number 1 selection in the NFL draft and a two time pro-bowler.

heres my point: the other 12 guys who did this were all great or at least very good for a while. no random guy just goes out and did what Flynn can do. its not possible. even great QBs cant do it. theres no Brees, Brady, Manning, Warner, Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Aaron Rodgers, Elway, Unitas, Starr or Farve on that list.

Flynn is a great quarterback, he just hasnt had the time to show it yet.

I like that idea myself. Give Saints some additional popularity. Besides, if Brees goes down, our chances go with him. Have not been that impressed with our current backups. Put this guy in our system for a year or two and see how he develops.

Jacksonville has some decent talent on the outside with Justin Blackmon and Cecil Shorts.

He'll be fine, even if he stays in Seattle.

Wilson will go thru the sophmore slump, and Flynn will get his shot

New Orleans already has too much money sunk in the QB spot. We don't have enough left over to field a championship team. The last thing we need is two million bucks sitting on the bench.

The Bills are my second favorite team, and I'm pretty sure they are looking to drop Fitzpatrick. So they will be on the market for starting QB.

Didn't they just sign Fitzpatrick to a 6-year, 59 million contract? I seriously doubt they're gonna drop him any time soon. And nobody in the NFL is going to pick up that tab for a mediocre player.

First, I feel sorry for you being a bills fan..Next, fitzpatrick and the offense is the least of the bills problems. They will probably invest in a whole new defense(much like the saints)
Last, I thought your second favorite team was the bills? You should know all these things. I dont even follow the bills and no more than you

How much of that money was guaranteed? He could retire after 5 years with a pension from the NFL. He had a tremendous career. Some team will take a chance on him. It would be great to get one more huge signing bonus before he retires.

"For him to sign a large contract and lose the job to a rookie doesn't help his case very much. He may get a look somewhere but his days are numbered unfortunately."

yes, I guess he'll just fade into the sunset. Yeah right!! You idiot.

Kansas City. New regime, and I think the failed Mike Vick experiment in Philly will have Andy Reid thinking 'pocket QB'. No way he sticks with what Crennel left him.

Flynn is not going anywhere? Why would they trade him. Wilson is prob under contract until 2015. The money spent on QBs in Seattle is still well below the avg of other teams, because the stater's contract is less that avg and Wilson's is a rookie contract. With Wilson scrambling and potential for injury (RG3?), they have one of the undisputed best backups in the league. 1-2 yrs. from now, when Wilson is due the bucks, then they may have to move Flynn.

With a handful of Louisiana Flynn fans who don't like the Saints. Those people aren't buying any tickets, not that there's any to sell, they'll just complain to put in Flynn whenever Brees throws a pick.

He'll still be worse than Brees.
