Takes way too much time. You cannot build a team and grow a team with 100 guys standing around and two people hitting. With no technique. Nothing.
If they did ten big cat drills at once maybe.

The Big Cat Drill was silly and not productive, so folks are right to make fun of it.
BUT, there was a time when the Big Cat clips were a favorite of many on the Board, who considered it emblematic of Bad Assery.
