Possibly.

Up to every person do decide what they need.

Not to derail this thread, but the 2nd amendment was intended as a defense from a trynical government. At the time the constitution was written, that meant that citizens could own the same weapons as the government. You had the right to own a cannon if you so chose. Does that bother you?

I guess that would be my question. Why would someone need all of that? There may even be a good reason.

I don't need a facking reason.

Not at all. Does someone asking questions bother you?

I'd still think LSU needs to look within and figure out how to prevent athletes from even being in this situation in the future.

Ban them from selling their personal belongings?

Your perception of the world today has much more to do with instantaneous access to information and less to do with changed human behavior.

We live in the most peaceful time in human existence.

The only reservation I have about it is the rare case. As I said, it's the actions of a few that make it a touchy subject IMO. My concern is a house full of guns and a bunch of people all coked up or tweaking and going out and doing something dumb.

There is some info, but you have to sift through the side conversations to get it. What are you looking for exactly?

NOPE. if I want a damn cannon I’ll go buy one. What pisses me off is every damn car in America has a damn muffler, but I’m jumping through hoops to buy one for a gun.......”same guy invented both”. Makes no sense

I'm not opposed to that. Or dont sell anything LSU related until after they depart from LSU athletics.

I think more reasonable solutions would be like (give me that the transaction is "legal"):

Try to use online trades first

If you have to meet in person, do it at location x and location x only.

Thorough education of all players before bowl games. Team rules banning anything having anything even remotely related to bowl game gifts until after the game.

If you need a gun to be there, you dont need to be there.

Could probably go on and on. You get the point.
