Bob Brodhead was outstanding (Arnsparger, Pat Henry, Skip Bertman, Sue Gunter). He may have had issues with LSU brass and politicos but he was very well received in the mid 1980s and hired coaches who have won over 1/3 of our nattys.

Verge may work out...but he is no angel. There are skeletons in his closet besides the tennis player stuff.
I will put it this way. Verge has been in that building for over 30 years and knows where all of the bodies are buried.....mainly because he put some of them there himself.

We are LSU fans. Nobody hates LSU more than us. We loved hating Kelly, got excited when he was being fired and moments leading up to it. Now we are back to predicting doom and gloom with a bad hire.
And then there are the delusional fans that believe Saban is going to leave one of the best jobs in America to return to a job he had grown to despise (head coach in college football) because of the changes with transfer portal and NIL.
