Good thing Auburn took the guy who gave up 70 that one time. Baby steps.

OK, I won't ask any more questions today.

Maybe tomorrow.

That Ohio State team had 2 1st Rounders last year and potentially another 5 this year. Not to mention 2 2nd rounders last year, and potentially another 5 this year.

You are talking about one of the most talented college football teams ever to take the field, and by the way they have a pretty good coach too.

But 59 tho? In a game you're favored to win? Ouch.

Wait is that true?

Also, it's not LSU fans drinking kool aid. It's unanimous among every fan base that this is a home run hire. Even those punch bowl turds on the SEC Rant from every other program admit this was a great hire.

Analysts on TV and soortswriters also feel this way.

You got a great dc. At a high price wisconsin was not willing to pay.
You have the D line and secondary studs naturally at LSU. He did not have that at UW.
I would be surprised if you weren't thrilled with Aranda next season. With his 34 look it will appear more aggressive due to the constant linebacker moves.
That 59-0 game was an embarrassment though, no doubt

You're saying Wisconsin was the favorite in that game?

Kirby Smart and Nick Saban gave up 42 with a month to prepare. Whats your point? Being negative is a bad way to live your life, my friend.
Arranda was the absolute best DC LSU could get and Miles got him. At least be positive in the beginning, my word.

I'll admit, the guy turned his career around in a big way. From 59-0 on a HUGE stage to everyone praising the crap out of him about a year later. Kudos to him. Hope he's not Tepper 2.0

The first rule of Aranda Club is: Do not ask questions about Aranda Club.

The groupthink is mystifying.

Amanda did well against crappy Big 10 offenses. Color me unimpressed.

He seems like a good coach. He can probably only do so much with the talent he has, and for the most part, he does very good with what he has.

My only concern is that the Big 10 doesn't have many good offenses. I think Indiana is the highest scoring offense in the Big 10 this year at 24th in the nation. Also, Wisconsin hasn't played Michigan State since Aranda has been there, so there may have been less challenges.

Outside of the conference, they've played us and Bama the last two years in the regular season. They gave up 500+ yards to Bama this year in the first game. However, they shut us down until late in the game last year when Diarse and Hilliard saved the day. So hopefully with a major talent upgrade, he'll be able to do even better when he does against better offenses.

I'll be damned. Still, tOSU was ranked 5 or 6 vs a 13th ranked Wisky at the time. Not exactly a textbook favorite.

So who did you guys want if not Aranda? Shoop, Pendergast, Venables, Crazy Uncle Bo? In my opinion he was our best option, and I'm happy with the hire... A LOT happier than I was when they announced Steele.

I'm happy with the hire. But apparently we're not allowed to ask questions about new coaches. Only about coaches we've had for awhile.

He is also the DC that has held the most teams with 10 points or less in the last three seasons with 16. Good enough for me, but you can keep on focusing on the negatives.
