I can't believe any insurance company would pay off even if the game isn't replayed. Florida made no effort to get the game in.

nsurance may pay for cost of the buyouts if Nov 19th is the day.

i wouldnt if I was the insurance company... plus thats not the biggest hit.. the biggest hit is the hotels/resturants/bars and everything else.. If I'm alleva there is no way on earth i drop the South Alabama game unless Im getting a check for 5-7 million to offset the economic impact to the city of losing a home game.

Gordy Rush said this morning that an LSU home game has about a $15 million economic impact in Baton Rouge. Conisdering what everyone is going through between shootings and the flood, LSU has a responsibility to the community to ensure no home games are lost this year.

If the game is played they shouldn't be able to collect insurance money.. Seems like fraud to me. UForfeit and UFraud… They'll get what is coming to them.

Please someone explain how we can be forced to play. UF canceled the game. SEC approved. What obligation do we have to make up their canceled game?

This is when we hope Alleva will
hold Sankey's feet to the fire. Unfortunately, Alleva's ability to manage this debacle is an unknown...

No they won't. They haven't "collected" anything yet. Insurance policies don't pay out instantaneously. If the game gets made up, the insurance won't pay out.

That's like saying if someone "dies" during but is resuscitated, their life insurance pays out.
