the exact same it is now, for me at least. i know what this team is now and wont expect to win that game.

we just lost to the best team in the country and the best coach in the country. quit bitching that Les is not Saban. neither is any other coach in the country.

Good points. I would also add the defense carried lsu for years bc miles wouldn't correct the inept offense. If they had confidence he would correct it a few likely would have comeback

every 4.5 and getting longer

I am not even mentioning NC's of which the crimson dwarf has won 3 outta the last 4. would you like me to use that comparison or a SEc title every 3 years???

exactly.

LSU will have to keep pace in a UGA style shootout, make zero mistakes in doing so, to stay within 10 points for this game (much less win it)

Oh so we didn't come within one play from beating the almighty Alabama and making our second straight trip to atlanta last year?

I could've sworn I was in the stadium for that game. What a vivid fricking dream.

Pumper logic -

Why did Auburn fire Chizik? He just won a NC? What better coach is out there?

Pretty sure that everyone of those draftees who left early has an SEC championship ring in their trophy room.

Why do you think that is? The players themselves can see that Miles can't coach them to a championship and improve their draft stock, so they leave when they can to play the lottery of the NFL. None of those guys had any loyalty to LSU

apparently you have some inside info inside the thinking of all the players who leave early. and they all have the exact same thoughts. pretty impressive. maybe mingo should have waited a year and tried to go #1 instead of guarantee top 10.

not really the debate I care about, but sam wasn't going to get any better and he fell a bit more because he was apparently the dumbest kids there is. did beyond terrible in his interviews/meeting with coaches.

We were. That team would've ran through georgia in the SEC championship game and we would've played for it all.

My story didn't change at all. The SEC championship just comes first.

You're the one thats mentioning Saban in every other post but still claim that you aren't comparing him and Miles.

I can think of three plays why we didn't beat them... all based on stupid coaching decisions.

So we were a threat, correct?

As we have been almost every year of this run?

So my point holds true....... Yet again.

If overcoming your coach's horrible gametime decisions makes them a threat, then sure.

So when we don't win a national title every 3 years we are supposed to fire our coach?

So he gets no credit for fielding a team talented enough to go toe to toe with the best team in the country and barely coming up short.

He only gets the blame for mistakes that you can't even guarantee were his fault.

And I'm the irrational one.
