Yeah I guess it's over for Skenes. The truth is revealed. He's a scrub. Winning the Cy Young was a fluke.

Hopefully that’s the way the Pirates really feel and trade him while there is some value left in him as a trade.

Not rocked. He was a little wild, but two misplayed balls by O’Neal Cruz were killers.

One swinging bunt and a blooper by Soto were the other two hits.

I thought he was off in WBC last start. Was no way he keeps that HOF pace up.

Skeens was not sharp today but I blame it on the center fielder who looked like he has never played center field.

Paul pitched poorly - 2 BBs and HBP. Would get to two strikes and couldn't finish batters.

As for as hits, one bloop single, one swinging bunt single, the bases clearing hit that Cruz miss played, and the ball Cruz lost in the sun.

Moreover, on the bloop single, Cruz made a great throw into 3rd and the 3B did a poor job applying the tag.

He didn't pitch well, but it should've been 1 run.

He made $5.5 mil total in 2025 and giving Livvy Dunne the high hard one on a regular basis. I think he’s doing ok in Pittsburgh !

The ump also screwed him on the leadoff guy, and another batter hit a dribbler that Skenes fielded but couldn't throw anybody out.

A lot of bad luck, but I guess that's baseball.
