No he didn’t, he got helped out a lot by bad tacking, better protection, and bail outs from his receivers.

Sure he did. McMillan's poise and decision making were on a different level than Brennan. Tucked and ran for positive yards and threw when necessary. Seemed much more comfortable.

I for one respect the hell out of McMillan coming in as an unheralded recruit, sticking around and grinding to the point of beating out two more physically gifted players.

Neither was McMillan. Or Etling, for that matter. A mobile pro-style passer can only be seen as a plus, however.

McMillan was a few ticks below Brennan in passing completion. However. McMillan had no turnovers and averaged almost 8 yards a run.
Brennan may have more eventual upside than McMillan, but right now, McMillan is a more effective QB.
