I was coming on here to say the same thing. I'm happy for him though. Didn't he also throw a TD this year as well?

O played him after miles due to practice habits
He’s not getting paid by falcons with Julio and Ridley ahead of him

He was our 2nd leading wr his senior year. Behind another really good nfl wr...

He was also the jet sweep guy.

Consider he also moved over from D his JR. good move by the coaches despite hindsight fans

I knew he’d be great. All Redemptorist grads achieve greatness.

I bring this up in a lot of Gage threads but he looked absolutely lost at DB in the spring game. I thought he was a waste of a scholarship.

He's looking better than ridley today. They have similar games.

I remember this as well. Gage was nonexistent under Miles, then immediately started getting a lot more attention once O took over.

He was but he had mad skills as a receiver. The TD vs Auburn where he laid out was beautiful. He also had a toe tapper TD vs aTm that was miraculous.

He could have been more in a dynamic offense.

If you’re watching Gage today put on some of his LSU games after. He’s developed into a different looking player since he was here. He’s always had great athletic ability
and he was a famously hard worker while he was at LSU so you’re seeing the fruits of that combination now.

I believe he is getting really comfortable as a WR now in the NFl. Matt Ryan is looking for him today. looks like he goes over 100 today in Receiving.

I don't remember even seeing him on the field until Orgeron took over. In the first game (Missouri?) he was catching passes, which made me wonder why Miles never played him.

Like another poster said, Gage was absolutely horrible as a defensive back in the spring game. I felt bad for him because he wanted to play at LSU so much. He waited and waited, and I think he got the final scholarship offer.

With respect to Miles:

1) The guy was in fact a heck of talent evaluator and recruiter. I mean he signed some guys that turned out to be ballers that were not highly ranked (he signed lots of 4 and 5 stars as well), but where Miles really did shine was evaluating guys who were not ranked high by the Rivals, ESPN, Scout, 247, etc

2) However, he did not know or use the talent he evaluated and recruited to his and LSU's advantage, Case in point, LSU could have been putting up big passing numbers with the WR Les recruited.

Oh well, and that is why in the end Les got himself fired.

I'm happy for him. He was one of the most down to earth players I had class with at LSU. I did save him from failing our class though,he wasn't in the classroom 10 minutes before our final that was a large part of our grade, so I shot him a text. He completely forgot about the final and made it just in time. So I say I did may part in helping him got to the NFL

Same with Chark. Miles was a stubborn a-hole with certain players
