shouldnt be too hard to live up to the awesomeness of Matt Flynn. He's not even a top 5 LSU QB of all times.

He didn't get a ton of reps in practice. You are not expected to know an entire playbook as third string qb. He probably did what he was expected to and when he realized he was going to need to step it up he did. What's the problem?

Our QB rotation was Hatch, Lee, JJ.

Hatch was down after game 3!

Surely you start stepping it up once you become #2 at least, huh?

Wikipedia - During his career at LSU, Randall would throw for 2,845 yards, 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions

So what you're saying is that he'll be better than Jarrett Lee??

Don't see where he said he didn't care. woww. Also, I think he's better than Randall, just as good as Flynn even better. Not better than Jamarcus but I'm sure he has better work ethic than J-Russ

once again, look who's talking

You know I could have taken this outa that article yest that I posted and made it a point, but I didnt...
AS for this "he was 3rd sting" shite, AH was done after AU which was the third game of the season.
we were 8-5 last seaosn which puts at 13 games.
so 9 outa 13 JJ was second string not 3 rd string.

I'm trying not to be overly optimistic about JJ. However, from his performances during the Arkansas game and Chik-fil-a bowl, I feel that the kid has a certain "air of confidence" around him. Even though he's still learning to be a leader, it definitely feel like he's been there before. I can't help but feel that his potential may be realized very soon.

Speaking of which, I'm still trolling the webs for a better smiley.

He's already surpassed Marcus.

That's not at all what he said! Don't forget that he was scheduled to be red-shirted on a medical until Hatch went down and Lee proved ineffective.

Jefferson never said he didn't care. You are simply flaming!

It takes at least 1 year to learn LSU plays for a QB. It took JR 2 years. JJ will be the LSU QB for the next 3 years and Lee will be a great backup like RP was to Flynn.
