Giving your knees a break from servicing Johnny Jones just to make your sh*tty post, I see.

That was just one of Scott Woodward's many mistakes. It has no bearing whatsoever on Will Wade or LSU basketball going forward.

This is not the way to go with sports. We'll be sorry down the road.

I would sign up for a first round loss in the next 3 NCAA Tournaments right now.
I just want to feel something again regarding Men's Basketball.

Since Wade will be the LSU coach, he will have my full support
I sent WW a text to let him know and he said, "tell chin thanks but no thanks".

SHow me an example of a similar situation where a guy was fired for reasons other than losing.

We will get a lot of big talk, particularly from the Wadeophiles.
We will also get a lot of anti Wade posters who will complain about results that are head and shoulders better than McBland.

We'll schedule easy teams to pad the win-loss record.
We will strategically schedule to raise out NET rating. CMM also scheduled easy non conference games but they never helped the NET rating.

We might bumble into the tournament, but there will be a quick exit.
I'd rather bumble in than sit at home.

Are you one of Scott Woodward’s eunuchs from his court?

I mean, the guy already proved he could win in the SEC, and took friggin McNeese to the tournament. That's already way better than our current situation.

He wasn't fired for performance, that's for sure. At the time of his departure, his .696 overall winning percentage was the highest of any LSU men's basketball coach in more than 100 years. There might be better coaches, but those coaches might not be best for LSU.
Of course there will be big talk. The program hasn't been the same since he left. To be honest, anything is better than McMahon's 23 percent SEC winning percentage. LSU should never have a coach who wins just 23 percent of his or her conference games over four seasons.
You have to walk before you can crawl. If next year's record is padded to give the team confidence and show the fanbase that progress is being made, so be it. The schedule will likely be a mix of guaranteed victories against regional opponents, the ACC-SEC challenge opponent and a couple of games against tougher opponents.
Again, let's walk before we can run. It took Dale Brown a handful of years in the NCAA tournament before he got the program to the Final Four. Skip Bertman made it to Omaha but didn't win his first CWS title until after a couple of tries.
One of the things that's gone against LSU is seeding. You want to be seeded in a position to avoid the No. 1 seed in the second round, so it can't be 8th or 9th. I'd like to see us make a run in the SEC tournament, because we haven't won it since 1979-80, and in the NCAA tournament. It will happen under Wade.

For LSU’s sake, I hope this works, but …
Why does everyone think this will work? Just pick up where he left off?
What will be the excuse when this goes up in flames?
Go ahead, bring the hate.

Funny, he sent me a nice, personalized autographed picture when he was at NC State.

"We fired our foreman. He did great work but he kept breaking the rules by taking a pistol to work."
Does not matter why he was fired. He was fired.
