Our football team has over 150 players/coaches/staff members. Based on the data for baseball right now there’s no way we actually have a football season. So let’s just hope for an LSU basketball season. You go from 150 to 25 people max. That’s much more manageable. However if we try for football and it fails which it will I’m thinking they cancel basketball and baseball season. Wouldn’t it be better to have basketball and baseball than risking it all with football?

Without football, school’s athletic dept. don’t have the funds to pay for other sports. No football...no other sports.

99% of schools lose money on baseball. I doubt the majority of schools make money on basketball. Football brings in the overwhelming majority of basically every schools athletic revenue. Which one of those 3 do you think they're going to prioritize?

Really.... Nothing you just wrote makes any sense. Do you REALLY think this virus keeps going at this pace and doesn't burn out like all viruses do???. Please stop being so damn negative.

What do you believe the threshold will be for deciding to cancel the season vs. continuing to proceed?

You are displaying what the psychiatrists term “magical thinking.” When do you suppose this virus will “burn out?” The weekend before the season starts? In two years? Feel free to post your education and credentials.
