Saban can recruit the jimmy and joes much better than he is at the x's and o's. I've always said that. People tend to over estimate his coaching ability due to the talent he has to work with. No one, no one, no one is, was, or ever will be, better at talking high school kids into going to his school than Saban.

I don't think Saban is getting a free pass. he blew that game yesterday.
