“Just took a flip of the wrist and the ball was gone, tight sporal, good zip on the ball and accurate.”
If that’s the case, why didn’t he play more last season?

I really dislike T-Bob.
He is extremely naive if he believes that shite about McMillan.

If this is true we're some deep shite.

However, if McMillan is in fact our starter come next season, we are so fricked
1. The dude was recruited by no one. But, to be fair. There have been others like him who surprised. But, it's rare.
2. Unfortunately, he can't be THAT big a friggin surprise. We started Danny Etling last year and when he was pulled, we didn't exactly send in JM, now did we? It's kinda rare for the "surprise" to occur after the Jr year.
3. This is the most important. The ONLY reason to start a Sr who has done nothing over the guys you have coming up is if the Sr is just substantially the better option. Otherwise, you develop the guys who are going to help you long term.
If 3 is true, then we aren't just fricked in 2018

I wouldn't read too much into this. This is about as absurd as Taysom Hill replacing Brees after he retires in New Orleans. If you read the Saints board...you know what I'm talking about.

I agree. And by using the logic that most used last year, Etling was the best option last year because he was a senior. So...if you bought into that logic, then this shouldn't be that big of a surprise. Unless, the narrative has changed for some unknown reason.

Justin is a great person but he’s not going to the the QB of this squad.

more or less quit on that show after Jordy's campaign to make O the coach and torpedo our program. And in the handful of times i've listened since Tbob joined he has been awful.

My brother was at practice recently and said the same thing.
Basically said none of the QB's look impressive and neither does the offense in general. It could be a long year.

“ Danny gives us the best chance to win”
And that gives me a lot of pause bout the QB position and the LSU O this season.

Would be fun for McMillan to get the nod and watch the Rant implode.

Said Narcisse had to be constantly reminded by E on his dropbacks to go left foot over right and that when he finally got that right he would one-hop the pass to the receiver. But E was on him really hard about doing things the right way.
Jesus Tapdancing Christ, if true. This isn't fkin pop warner. If he doesn't have the basic footwork down.........

If McMillan starts, Orgeron's arse is toast.

Just went back and listened. jordy said he hasn’t heard good things about qb and agreed with tbob that McMillan was the best of the mediocre. That is what he said.

Because spring practice is definitely the equivalent of playing in games last fall.

Pretty sure at Bama , Ohio St, and Clemson Saban , Urban and Dabo do not give a single frick if their QB drops back left foot over right or right over left . As long as they make plays and win . If Lowell is fricking comfortable doing it his way and making the passes , why make him switch and set his accuracy back ? And don’t tell me it throws off the timing of the offense because 3 step or 5 step drop is the same fricking count no matter what foot you cross over with.

I'm no QB coach, but I've heard a lot of the great ones say good quarterback play starts with footwork. I'm gonna go out on the limb and say coach E is right on this one.
