Alleva makes some questionable scheduling decisions. Has anyone seen our schedule for next year?

Out marquise ooc game is Syracuse. We play mcneese, but we play a mac and a sunbelt school as well. Garbage

Which is right in line with every one of the other SEC teams we are competing against. Bama gets Wisconsin in the opener, and A&M is playing Arizona State, but that's the only 2 games out of the other 28 OOC in our division that is better than a road trip to Syracuse.

I don't understand why so many of our fans want LSU to martyr themselves and play the hardest possible OOC schedule around. I guess they want to be able to brag on the internet about it, but you know damn good and well that if we played Notre Dame, Michigan, and Baylor OOC, and we lost one of those games, everybody would flip their shite we were already "out" of the playoffs.

I don't get why CBS doesn't get a shot at the LSU/aTm game on Thanksgiving Night

What if LSU & aTm were 1 vs 2. How can they dictate to CBS that they will never have the opportunity to air the LSU game when played in Kyle field because it has to be played on Thanksgiving and not Friday or Saturday. I honestly don't see how they pulled that off but yet for years played that shitty arse early Friday game against Arky because Saban threatened not to spin straw into gold.

I really can't understand how A&M can demand their home game be played on Thanksgiving night (Never will be on CBS), but ours is subject to the whims of CBS.
That's your problem.

If it was a night game? Maybe, but it still sucks.

I'd rather have women at the tailgates and black friday is a big day for them

I wouldn't mind it if it was a 6 pm kickoff.

You couldn't pay me to go to a mall on Black Friday or any day thereafter until 1/1/of the next year.

I'd rather be at an LSU game.

I don't mind it at all. I'm not sure why Miles doesn't like it. It gives you an extra day to prepare for the SECCG, provided you're in it.

Texas A&M had all of one year's experience in the league when they started telling CBS to frick off. Does the LSU at Texas A&M game sound appealing? Well, A&M said screw you CBS, we are playing thus game on Thursdau night on your competitor's station. CBS has no chance to broadcast LSU at Kyle Field against the Aggies.

None of this is true.

if a&m gets their way at college station, LSU should get theirs in baton rouge on a saturday night.

Because I actually want to see quality games against quality opponents. I'd rather LSU go 9-3 playing against the marquee programs of the NCAA than go 12-0 on Boise State's slate.

They should, but contracts are contracts and money is the name of the scheduling game.

Oh, really?

Is it true that LSU is playing at Texas A&M on Thanksgiving night?
Is it true that CBS can not televise that game?
Is it true that ESPN, CBS' competitor, will now televise that game?
Is it true that the only reason we are playing this game on Thanksgiving night is because A&M thinks that they have a tradition of playing Thanksgiving night?
