a shoe-in for All-American. It seems he gets better every game, and although he doesn't score as often as Tyrann did, the dude is a game-changer.

I didn't think we'd have another defensive player that could straight up shut down another team almost single-handedly, but Delpit is proving me wrong. Dude is already an LSU legend in my mind.

Delpit's 5 INTs leads all of CFB. He is up there as one of the best defensive players in all of CFB.

I seriously think he’s the best defensive player in college football. I love Devin and Greedy, and they are both Top 5 picks, but the way Delpit has played he is the team MVP, and a top 5 pick next year. If Big Ed Oliver had come to LSU, we’d have the best 4 defensive players in college football.

With or without White, Delpit is the key to beating Bama. We can't let their receivers run free like everyone else has.

Jaylon Ferguson leads the nation in sacks.

Delpit is a beast.

How could they have possibly left him unguarded on that one play?

I rank Delpit as the second best defensive player I’ve seen in college this year. Ed Oliver is a clear cut #1. Greedy is one of the top corners, but I see him as borderline top 10 in the draft. Devin White is a guy I’m not as high on as most LSU fans. He’s a physical freak, but without the instincts that Delpit and Greedy have. Fulton is really showing out. He is great in coverage and plays the underneath stuff extremely well - even better than Greedy.

I've been calling him an All American the past two games. I even posted the thought of him winning the Thorpe (should be his for the taking). Hell, he should win the Bednarik award too.

In 2011 Mathieu finished with 6 turnovers, 4 TDs (2 punt returns), 7.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks, and 76 tackles.

In 2018 8 games in, Delpit has 6 turnovers, 8.5 TFL, 4 sacks, and 54 tackles.

Safe to say he's going to destroy all of Mathieu's stats outside of TDs.
