So is there agreement that Alleva blew this in every imaginable way?

If Les Miles staying, why let the circus continue for weeks without an official statement of support?
If Alleva targeted only one replacement candidate and that fell though and allowed the circus to come to town, that even worse IMO.

He needs to be fired. He allowed that negativity to swirl around our program and hurt recruiting. He also looked very unhappy admitting that Miles is the coach tonight. I'll bet they had a big divide within the boosters and obviously the players/fan support.

Alleva, Boosters, Athletic department... This was a colossal failure on all fronts. At this point, it's an absolute joke that Les is still our coach.

At a minimum he should have let Les know what was going on. Ideally he would have protected the university from this shite storm by getting out in front of this and being candid.

You really hae no idea what happened. No offense but you never knew anything. This board was where almst all of this "smoke" was coming from. There is a lesson here but im sure it will go unnoticed...as usual

I absolutely 100% believe that Alleva should resign effective immediately. This whole thing has been a disgrace. There is no excuse for what has happened over the past three weeks. He is public enemy #1 for LSU sports fans. He is the Curley Hallman of AD's.
