Honestly, their fans are more concerned about the qb position than ours are.

And rightly so. Imagine The Rant's reaction if our spring game score was 6-0. That was their spring game score FYI.

And remember, the Badgers lost their entire front seven from a year ago. Their offense just has even more issues than their defense.

It was pointed out earlier that aTm was gutted on offense and return a simply atrocious D.

I don't care how good their scheme is, they don't have the horses to stay with us this year. And their 12th man aint gonna be able to do schit about this year.

Long season for the Phaggies!

aTm had one of the least experienced defenses last year. They should get better by leaps and bounds.

They literally have nowhere to go but up. Kevin Sumlin has never fielded a strong defensive team in his coaching history though. Even when he went 13-1 at Houston his defense gave up a lot of points.

Sumlin's strategy is to out-score everyone.

But, they have uncertainty at the QB position. I'd say if TAMU wins 7 or 8 games this year that it was a successful season.

The offense is somewhat in the same position as LSU [minus the OLine].

Gee ya think? They only won 8 games last year with one of the best offensive players in the history of the SEC and you think it would be successful if they won 8 games without him, their best WR and their best OL?

They have an entire new defense.

We have better football players.

Yup. If anything last year taught me is that defense is more important to return players. In college football young talent on offense can have tremendous success if you hit on the right guys. Plus we returned one of the most elite offensive lineman in the country.

There are three teams on our schedule that I think have a really good shot at beating us this year. Alabama, Florida, Auburn. We should not lose anymore than 3 games.

I don't understand why people always tend to overlook Ole Miss even after they beat us last season and are supposed to be an even better team this year.

I'm kinda done talking on this topic. I keep up with a lot of college football and I know how bad Wisconsin is hurting now. They lost a lot of leadership, experience, and playmakers. That stout run defense, gone. That 1000 yard receiver, gone. Their next three top pass catchers, gone. Melvin Gordon can not catch the ball. He can run, but has stone hands. They have no safety valves, no breakout players, they are moving a safety to play linebacker, losing another safety, moving a QB turned backup safety, turned QB again to compete because their senior starter sucks and has a bum shoulder.

This is not a talented team. They can't replace starters and 2-3 year players with NFL caliber backups like UNC or Ole Miss for that matter. This was the worst time they could have chose to play us. They would have been better off playing the cupcake openers they have been playing.

2013 UMASS
2012 Northern Iowa
2011 UNLV
2010 UNLV
2009 Northern Illinois
2008 Akron
2007 Washington St

It was the worst time for them to pick a big boy.

TAMU hasn't beaten us the last three tries. Haven't even been close. The earliest game was 7 games in, the other a bowl, and the other at the end of the regular season. They've had first round QBs in those games, first round WRs in those games. They had a decent defense the first two games, and they still had no chance. Until they magically get better, I'm saying they aren't going to do shite. I mean last yead, we had true freshman corners guarding junior and senior skyscraper WRs. Mills, first game at safety, Robinson, first game as starter (barely played previously). TAMU will be our bitch until further notice, and that is just the way it is.

Anyone who writes them off is a dumbass. They're a solid team who's capable of beating us. They're a top 25 team right now with questions. LSU has their own problems too so it won't be as one-sided as some might think.

LSU QB still undetermined. Super Stud Freshman RB (green). Super Stud Freshman WR (green). To many question marks for my taste.

Great example of fans in denial: It's ok to win every game except the ones that are really important.

They're going down but I doubt they go down easily. I think it will be a very close game until the final 7-8 minutes.

I don't either; Ole Miss is the one school that, year in/year out, regardless of records, can be a season killer for LSU.

What the hell...you are talking completely out of your arse...you think they had no chance against us at home in 2012? They got out to a DOMINATING 9-0 lead in the first quarter. The score was 14-12 at halftime and that was thanks to the catch of the year by Kadron Boone. We pulled up by 12 late and then have up a TD and only won by 5. You call that having no chance? This might be the dumbest comment I've ever seen on the Rant. Congratulations. Seriously.

they don't have playmaker wrs and an average QB so i doubt they'll be able to throw on our secondary.

They return a 1,000 yard rusher and has always been a ground and pound team so our young DTs will be tested out the gate. Their offense'll probably look a lot like Iowa's

I put $50 down on LSU vs Wisc. A friend who goes there , I hope, will be owing me fiddy

For those who don't follow Wisc, they're a damn strong team with a great RB.
