So if Les Miles wins a NC again, does his salary go up to $7M as well?

I'd pay it if he actually deserve it if not, then frick that noise.Hopefully CLM is glad NS is staying and not leaving and this would bring back his fierce side again.

Bo vs Woody continues!

Sumlin is making 5 a year and Guss is close, if Miles wins a BCS Playoff championship next year 7 mill or close too it is cool with me. But that's just me. Ticket prices might go up.

Lol he makes a small percentage of what he has built this programs worth up to be.

Yeah he's lost more than 3 before but he's also beat every team we played in 2011 and won the sec. If the bcs polls came out again after 1/9 we would prob still be #1 based on SOS.

I think we are paying him exactly what he's worth. Other teams in our division and conference are the ones paying too much.

If he wins another one who knows? Maybe he will get a hefty raise maybe just a small one. I think 2015 will be when we should expect to win one. No telling what other sec coaches are making 2 years from now.

More like a 3/4 loss a year coach. While losing to UAB.

If Miles wins in 2015 (like I believe he will) he will go to 5 mill, maybe 5.5. No coach should be getting 7 mill. CFB hasn't elevated it's profit that much yet.

Doesn't Miles have a clause that says he becomes the highest paid SEC coach if he wins another NC, automatically putting him over $7M, because that is how much Bama is paying Saban?

I like the guy as head coach of LSU. But, we will not win another NC with him as head coach, ever.

Maybe saban pulled through and did all the Miles haters a favor. I don't think any coach should be paid 7 mil.

If Miles wins a championship would we be willing to pay him that much, would anyone?

What happens if we don't?

I'm sure the Miles haters would be happy to drop him after winning a national championship instead of paying him.

Les is being paid right at what he deserves. Since he's been at LSU he's finished the season ranked, on avg, around 7-8. He is the 7-8 highest paid coach.

You're saying his contract shouldn't be honored? I think Miles would have to agree to those terms.
Another 3mil is a bargain for another NC anyway.
How much was spent between '59 and '03 fruitlessly.

If Miles wins a NC, our season ticket prices are going to skyrocket to pay for his raise.

People complain about their ticket prices now...

Maybe not. But he'll be fighting like hell, and he'll be in the running for some at the end of those seasons. In the mean time, please tell us of your great accomplishments.
