I study was done by a local morning sports show, and P Steele's predictions were usually the most accurate of all the sports rags.

Confident Wins: Texas, Southern Cal, ND, VaTech, Ohio St, Okie St

Toss-ups: FSU, Oregon, Louisville, Stanford, Bama, UGA

I'll take 9-3.

Any list that includes FSU and VaTech is bare faced pandering towards those two fanbases. They don't belong there, but Phil Steele gets paid for website hits.

frick that.

i literally do not see any non-SEC teams on there which jump out at me as "oh yeah, they'll beat LSU."

i expect most would give a good game but LSU has to be the favorite in 10 of them unless the new guys coming in just do not gel at all

Youngest team in the nation last year. Beat the gators pretty soundly. Bridgewater is legit. Don't know how you can say that's a gimme this year.

I'd go 10-2

If it really happened, we'd beat at least one of the teams we shouldn't and lose to at least one of the teams we should beat.

I can see anywhere

between 8-4 to 11-1

yeah this.

of course this is just on paper. a college fball season is more about when certain games fall in a schedule and momentum so on.

for instance if they played this slate as their actual schedule this year i'd lower the range to start with 6-6/5-7.
