I havn't been the biggest fan of his but almost every LSU program is excelling. It seems pretty difficult to be critical of the results we are seeing with our athletics.

I’ve been both pro/anti Alleva the past few years but it seems like his recent moves have worked out for the best

Wade was a home run.
We will find out about Orgeron in 2019.

Among our fanbase, facts have nothing to do with whether they are critical or not. Even after magnificent seasons by a good number of our programs, lots of folks claim alleva and all coaching staffs need to be fired. Bunch of damn drama queens!

The only top 3 hire JA has ownership of is O.

He inherited Mainieri and Wade was placed in his lap.

He literally made two unsuccessful basketball hires prior.

My biggest complaint is how they’re ruining the football game day experience.

I also hated how handled Miles firing and how they jumped straight to coach o after jimbo and herman passed, without looking at other options. It wasnt handled well at all, even though I think coach o has done a great job so far.

If he falls all the way from top six to top eight in the country and only beats three top 10 teams this year instead of four does that mean Alleva is a failure?

Alleva was horrible at Duke. O was notoriously bad at Ole Miss. but, Belichick and Saban were both with the Cleveland Browns and are two of the greatest coaches ever. Jimmy Johnson was 1-15 his first year with the Cowboys and only won 56% of his games in the NFL. At some moment, you have to stop judging people on past performance or forgive them for their mistakes. This is a great time to be an LSU sports fan.

Add in the fact that LSU sports facilities are in the best shape they've ever been in. Very few schools have better overall sports facilities...both playing and practice facilities... as LSU.

I think everybody recognizes that 2019 is set up for a big season. Expectations are rightfully high.

This seems more drama queen than actual facts.

The Les Miles firing, not firing, then firing next season 4 games in. The Herman, Jimbo, then O hire.

The Trent Johnson era, the Johnny Jones era, then really have little to do with Wade hire except offer the job.

The inheritance of Mainieri and a top tier baseball program.

Alleva's (as with any LSU AD) fate is with his football hire. Football pays the bills. Basketball can help but ultimately he will be judged based of orgeron.

I disagree 100%. Overall, most SEC Teams are on LSU's level and some have crossed them up.
