I think Joe goes for 362 with 3 touchdowns, it's his breakout game and helps build confidence for next year.

Provided the O-line gives him decent protection. I think A&M is averaging three sacks a game.

A&M has one of the worst pass defense's in the FBS ... He should have a good game...and If Burrow throws for 300+ yards LSU will blow the doors off ATM.

So did Arkansas, but LSU didn't take advantage of it. We ran the ball an insane 48 times for the worst rushing performance by a SEC team vs Arkansas since game 4 of this year when Auburn ran against them.

TAMU has by far the best rush defense we'll have faced this year, with the 2nd worst pass defense we've faced all year.

We should be throwing the ball 35-45 times this game. Anywhere from 300-400 yards shouldn't be a problem if we don't run a bunch of plays that plays into our awful blocking.

2 problems,#1 No blocking on the offense line, #2 no wide receiver that can catch the ball! I think the Tigers win but they had better come to win !

Depends on how well the line blocks. If they give him time, he can carve them up

I'm going to say 270. That should be enough for a W.

Their run defense is not “pretty decent” it is 1st in the SEC and #2 in the nation. This is not the A&M team we have beat there last 7 years.

How much of their defensive numbers are skewed by the fact that teams know they can exploit their secondary and throw the ball more than running it? Honest question.

So i'm gonna say he goes for what feels like 400 but our Wrs dropping 100 yards worth of passes he ends up a little over 300

Joe's drop rate was 10.3% a month ago, His completion percentage over the last month has been higher than his season average so there is no reason to think the drop rate has changed for the worse. So 300 should look more like 335 or so based on that.

I'd also pump the breaks on 300 yards passing vs aTm, as much as I hope it happens. We've been schizophrenia when it comes to exploiting passing opportunities. Here are the rankings of teams we've played vs our performance against them passing. We have actually over performed in passing vs all SEC teams we've played except for Moo State and Arky but under performed vs teams like La Tech and SELA

Good point.
But, for the same reason, he probably needs more than 250, with no interceptions for us to win.
This is a very interesting match up of offenses and defenses.

I agree, I think he will throw for 300, gotta keep getting Chase/Marshall the ball, they have the most(if not more) big play ability outside of Jefferson.

I think the OL will tighten up protection this week to end the regular season on a good note.

If JB throws for 300 yrs. - we will win. 250 , we lose.

They are giving up 3.1 yards per carry, bama is at 3.3 and we are 3.8. So they are actually good against the run and it is not skewed by how bad their pass defense is.

Came close against Ole Miss. They've played 3 shitty pass defenses and one IAA school and he went for 307, 292, 195, and 151.
