Jimbo coached Jamarcus
Krag coached Brohm

FSU should hire Kragthrope to be Head Coach

You have officially overused the picture. Is that suppose to be Crowton in your eyes?

Just stop. That's getting worse.
i haven't posted since your last post.
Listen, i just came across an observation.
I didn't even give any opinions from the observation.
I did stick up for the notion that crowton didn't coach flynn theory. I think some of you guys discount a bit the influence crowton may have had with flynn during that year.

I was writing the post before that while you posted the high school comment. Check which post refers to which one of yours.

reading too much into...also for those that are arguing Jimbo vs. Crowton....I think it is safe to say that Flynn is a very very smart football player and a lot fo the credit needs to go to him and neither coach....he was helping call in the plays as a true freshman after only being there for a fall practice....he was going to succeed and do well no matter who coached him

Be thankful it's not Terry Bowden.

Well, if you are drawing a distinction b/t "coaching" and "developing," then what's your point? Crowton coached Flynn for a year by giving him the plays. Whoopdeedoo. How does that say anything one way or the other? Explain.

Flynn beats Brohm out of a job in the NFL... am I reading into this too much?
I'd say so. Flynn was developed by Jimbo Fisher, and Brohm was developed by Petrino. Crowton and Krags only got one year with them. And success in college does not always equate with success in the NFL.
Posted on 1/19/11 at 12:45 pm to Chad504boy
NO You are not. Crowton was never the problem here.
Posted on 1/19/11 at 1:14 pm to Chad504boy
Brohm was a much more prolific passer in college than Flynn.

Brohm's dad was huge in his development a well, but the kid was a huge dickbag apparently...which is why he couldn't cut it in the NFL. Even worse than clausen supposedly.
Flynn >>> Brohm as a person/NFL player
Brohm >>> Flynn based on pure raw talent

Brohm was worse each year under Krags. They had him and Michael Bush and still sucked on offense in the BE.

wasn't krag with him just 1 year, a year where the defense went into the shitter from what i read on cc board.

The Packers have made public statements about Flynn's lack of development, and how much he improved once they got him. So your choices are:
1) The OC that got everything out of a kid (Heisman mention), only to not make it at the next level, or...
2) The OC that left a lot on the table in the development of a QB, who someone else then turned into a legit prospect??
I'll let you do the math
