It could but it is private property so LSU would have to buy it. They can’t just force someone to change their private property into a parking lot.

I dont need some nice fancy place to get wasted on $12 cocktails if I'm a college kid. They will continue to keep that area afloat as long as they wanna have a good time. Its the perfect fit for some broke 19-22 year olds who dont care if its a shithole

So where are the LSU kids supposed to go out and party?

Tiger land might be a shithole but it’s a big contributor to the culture and experience for undergrads

You probably could make more in 7 days of parking, than you can make selling nickel pitchers

Again... Where will all the college kids go out? Are we suggesting a college town has no bars for college kids?

I know it’s wild for a lot of you sidewalk fans, but there’s a lot more to an LSU experience than coming into town 7 fall weekends a year

All the more reason to change it if our culture is 50 cent shot night at Reggie’s

True. But it was SO much better when it wasn’t a shithole. It’s just sad that the LSU bar area is a slum.

The north gate area needs to be cleaned up swiftly. It makes the most sense for a strip of college bars due to proximity to campus.

Fred’s isn’t really the problem in tigerland. I hardly even consider Fred’s tigerland despite its location.

Comes into thread shitting all over Tigerland and how bad it is

Stands up for the most popular bar most synonymous with Tigerland

When did it suddenly become a shithole? It hasn't undergone some kind of recent, drastic transformation. Cheap bars that target young people in a college town. It is what it is. It might not be your preferred scene, but that doesn't make it a candidate for demolition.

Plus the bars aren't about to sell.

Fred's is quintessential tigerland.

If Fred's isn't the "problem", what would you say is?
