The way Miami turned out to be in their heyday made me regret pulling for them against Nebraska in 84. But I have to pull for Miami today against the weirdos.

I stopped pulling for the other SEC teams when we started getting the benefit of the doubt around 2006/7.
The five years or so before that we needed SEC teams to show out so we wouldn't get left out like Auburn 2004.

This was more a thing in early 2000s because the SEC was getting overlooked by the east and west coast media.
Once the SEC started rattling off consecutive national championships and the media realized how good the SEC actually is compared to everyone else, it changed to every team for themselves.

Except texas didnt go into a 7 OT blatently rigged game at home against us, win entirely due to the rig, and then brag about it shamelessly like it wasnt factual that the refs were absolutely making sure AnM finally won one against us. After the 4th OT, I knew we werent winning no matter what. The flamboyant tendencies, no women cheerleaders, the weird asf alabama lil bro syndrome, the pride with NOTHING to show for it?
Yeah, AnM is absolutely the most embarrassing team in any sport, any level, in the world. Its that bad. Shamelessly out of touch with what losers they are.
