Dude, we just fired Les. They're ready to throw cash around like a pimp in a strip club.

They do have one of the richest men in Houston as a contributor. Not sure how much he would care about keeping Herman though

LSU was going to pay damn near 30 million to get Jimbo out of FSU last season and your boy doesn't think LSU can outbid Houston?

Why not. Why would LSU boosters necessarily be richer? But regardless of that. Where does he want to coach? Is LSU > Houston in his mind?

LSU has one of the largest athletic budgets in the country. Your friend is an idiot.

Not all men are driven 100% by money.

Maybe , maybe not. But do we honestly feel like Houston will be his last stop, regardless of money ? I don't

LSU won't have to. If Herman wants to come to LSU they'll get it worked out. His decision won't just be to the highest bidder,

We could easily win a bidding war against Houston. The problems are if the Texas job open or Houston is able to get into the big 12. If those two things don't happen LSU will be at the front of the line for Hermans services.

Relax, it's not always about money. We just don't know what Herman wants. LSU may not be able to outbid everyone but we have other advantages.
