What's the trick to watch on my smart tv? When I try to type in watch ESPN on the web browser, it comes up, but then when I click on one of the games, it says they can't stream the game. I thought this was one of the benefits of having a smart tv, to use the actual tv for streaming instead of having to use roku or an apple box.

Shouldn't I be able to get Watch ESPN through the web browser on my smart tv? Or do I still need roku or Apple TV?

I have only rarely been successful in doing this due to the difficulty in dealing with the browser on my tv...I am not sure why they haven't come up with a "Watchespn" App for tv, but that would make it a hell of a lot easier.

I generally just give up and watch on the computer...that is, until the sound starts going off. Then turn the whole shite off and listen to it on the radio.

The game doesn't start streaming until about 10 seconds before the first pitch. Annoying but that's how they do it.

If you get the ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater channel, you can at least see a good bit of the game. They switch from game to game, but there won't be many played tonight, so chances are that it will be a lot of LSU. I've been watching it all weekend and really enjoyed seeing action from all the regionals

Yes I am old. But once my kid turned on the Apple tv thing, we found the Watch ESPN box, so it looks like we're good.

No WatchESPN app for Smart TV's. You could maybe do it with the browser but I think you need some flash-type add-on.

The smart tv should support the watchespn app.

Eta:
Perhaps not. Mine does, but it's a roku TV.

if you can't stream on the tv then download the watch espn app on your iPhone or iPad and then stream to your tv. I would guess you have at least one apple product in your home right?
