Man, we still blaming House for the complete lack of talent is insane. House didnt get fired mid season because he was working with what he had and HE wasnt the problem only the scapegoat.

Sloan should be fired. Nuss doesn't look better than last year. Our Oline isn't nearly as bad as we thought until the injuries last night and we have a TON OF NIL deals WRs and weapons.

This offense should be top 5.

The offense we have should be scoring plenty of points. I assumed they just were not showing that much offensively until they enter SEC play. But it is hard to watch the offense only put up minimal numbers against La Tech.

How many assistants has Kelly hired and fired since he came?
The most consistent coaches on the team are the original ones that he fired, then was forced to rehire.
I heard "Tigerbait" talking about how our OL had two first round OT draft choices last season, yet we were too weak to open holes and run the ball.
Is it our S & C Coach or OL Technique

After Denbrock left we were told that Sloan needed to be retained because he was the reason why Underwood committed. Well, Underwood went elsewhere and LSU is stuck with a play caller who calls an extremely inefficient offense.

BK certainly did not say this.

It’s not like Sloan is holding back. He is who he is. Kelly hired and retained him.

This is 100% on Kelly.

Kelly is pissed at his offensive staff. Very clear from his comments last night.

Kelly mentioned "bad coaching" about 10 times in his presser. Obviously as you narrow it done, it comes back to Sloan and Davis to some degree. Kelly totally seems like a guy who would fire someone mid-season if things got bad enough. At the very least, I expect him to take over more of the play-calling like it was believed he did towards the end of last season. We have the weapons to get this turned around. I hope we do but I don't have much confidence in the coaching on that side of the ball.
At Notre Dame he fired his DC 4 games into the season in 2016. The next year he hired Mike Elko.

Lol @ people thinking last night was on Sloan. I have front seat on the Nuss Bus but Nuss made some poor reads & throws last night. Receivers also had several crucial drops. The offense should have scored 40+ last night yet the players themselves left a ton of plays on the field. The "bad coaching" part that Kelly mentioned seems to revolve around he & the offensive staff not stressing the necessary attention to minor details in preparation for inferior opponent.

No but posters here did and it was implied from the paid boards and writers.

Firing a coordinator mid season doesn’t do much anyway. We’ve got Sloan till the end of the season.

After we missed on underwood I dont see why he was kept around after last season. He seems like he is well liked by the coaches and probably players so its probably not easy to get rid of him but he clearly seems like the weak link.

Should have sent Sloan back to Ruston on the LA Tech bus. Give the co-OC a shot.

Nah, the seat on the bus should be held for you so we can find a more knowledgeable fan to replace you. They are hard find though.

Chat GPT trained on our playbook would outcoach Sloan. He is a disaster.
