Sloan could have easily called plays around the O Line issues as he did vs Clemson.

BK was clearly working on deficiencies last night.

If you can’t see that, I am not sure what else to say.

So Co OC Calos Hankton who has never called plays is what some of you are asking for.

The thing is...Kelly is telling you that these weaknesses should not exist and that coaching is the primary reason they do. That's what he said! You don't play that lackluster and just keep your "A game" in the tank for another day.

OL and Play Calling are the two things that can derail this season

When your starting C goes down and we are still running 3 straight plays into the middle of the Line, he is definitely testing to see if Chester can get it done.

They were planning for Fla. and the message was for the line coaches.

OL dictates playcalling.

kelly was pissed off all game but really pissed at the end when LSU went out for victory formation with 9 guys

just a bad night for the offense and the staff

pretty obvious that Kelly wanted the offense to work on their deficiencies when they went two TEs tight power formation and tried to force the ball in with RB between the tackles on most of the plays inside the 5

Exactly. Sloan is calling plays. He can’t also pick personnel groupings, make sure we have 11 on the field, get them lined up properly. Motivate them to focus and not jump off sides. That is what the position coaches are there for.

If this is all on Sloan, then why are the other coaches and BK even on the field.

Sloan should have been gone as soon as Underwood decommitted.

For the 1st half...that seems true. I bet you that wasn't what they did in the 2nd half!

CBK also got involved with play calling with departed Denbrock. He(CBK) took over things at ND a few years ago. Denbrock had the luxury of JD5 to hide a lot of Bad play calling. Once JD5 got him the OC job at ND he bolted. ND offense isn’t setting the world on fire. CBK isn’t afraid to criticize or critique anybody.

After Denbrock left we were told that Sloan needed to be retained because he was the reason why Underwood committed. Well, Underwood went elsewhere and LSU is stuck with a play caller who calls an extremely inefficient offense.

When Bricewwd flipped and Sloan didn’t have a plan B or C, I would have parted ways.. You can’t blame him for the flip, you can hold him accountable for not one backup

And last night the announcers said Nuss has full reign to check out of any play. Add that to the playcalling questions. Can anyone outside of the staff even know what the issues are?

Davis should have been sent packing after the bowl game with Baylor. Plenty of sample seasons to know all you have is a glorified recruiting coach.

The play calling wasn’t the issue last night. Nuss inability to be accurate and receivers not making catches they should have was the difference. Even with Chester at center they had every opportunity to blow the game open. The plays were there to be made and they didn’t make them. GA only beat Austin Peay 28-6. Austin Peay. I guess Kirby should be fired.
