If you can’t run the ball effectively for 2 years in a row with completely different personnel on the o line then it is on the OC. I don’t know how else you could spin that. Sloan is not a top tier SEC OC period.

Let’s not get this twisted! In the NIL era, players don’t give a damn about anything but the money

If said Blue Chip recruits are deciding whether or not to come to LSU based on an LSU fan calling into to a tv show, they’re far to sensitive to play here anyway. No one cares what Bubba from Luling has to say. That’s there personal opinion and isn’t affecting recruiting.

Thanks for the clarification MB. I knew it was a former QB, but my memory didn’t serve me well on the name.
I could not believe they threw another pass in that situation. Just crazy play calling.

Sloan is following BK's instructions to "dial it back". I don't agree with "dial back the offense" but that's BK's instructions.
Don't throw facts at the Sloan mob it's like a crucifix to Dracula. They are like a pack of hyenas, one smells blood the others join in blindly. They did the same thing to Ensminger even after the 2019 team.
THEY will be ready to fire BK should or when we lose 1 game.

Probably that miserable Augie, the undercover Tulane fan.

Yep I hear his conniving drivel on Finebaum. The great pretender.

We have a terrible “injured” quarterback
He is most of the problem. How the frick are we going to call good plays with a bad QB.

I worry about the people that call that show

Florida was my first game in the stadium this year. It is always easier to judge play calling from the stands vs tv. It was vanilla too often last Saturday. I felt many were too critical of Sloan so far this year, but didn't like our play calls against Florida. We aren't in the room when game planning is occurring, so I reserve making too many judgements, but the product on the field was not good enough.
In previous games his year, I appeared that Nuss wasn't sharp. On Saturday, the play calling was too conservative.

Did he give you wedgies in high school?

Bama has had nut jobs on the show for years that hasn’t really hurt their recruiting. Why would we be different?
Posted on 9/19/25 at 9:28 am to KWL85
Play calling was designed to protect Nuss's injury short comings and young OL. The gameplan was dictated by BK not Sloan. Nuss was not sharp last Saturday. If you reviewed the game video as I did you would see was struggling and almost got intercepted 3 times. BK was smart to dial back and rely on his defense. SLOAN WAS FOLLOWING BK'S GAMEPLAN.

When you have a QB that ranks near the bottom of the SEC for yards per attempt on 20+ yards and zero threat to running the ball, you will have a shite running game.
Nuss is the reason for it, not Sloan.

Why are you ignoring what I said? I said "it doesn't help" not that it for sure would stop a recruit. Would you send your potential high school QB recruit to a college where there is uncertainty that the OC who was very involved in his recruitment, will be there? Sorry I would send my kid to a more stable program

Man you are right about that. Gotta say the majority of the physcos are Bama fans. There is one from St Louis, a Missouri fan, that I think is leading the Manson family now that Charlie is dead.

The late Nelson Stokley once told me Steve Ensminger was one of the hardest OC to figure out.
That must be why Stokely at USL beat a ranked A&M team(#25) with Ensminger as the OC. The only ranked team the Cajuns beat until 2020 when they beat Iowa State.
ETA: Slinger was what A&M OC. Not sure if the original statement was clear.
