He has so much potential. If he can figure out how to dribble in traffic and just in general not be clumsy with the ball he will be really good in the NBA IMO.

Ignorant. Not only did he outperform his class ranking but he was one of the most productive freshman bigs in LSU history and arguably the most productive in the last 25 years. Only Big Baby and Anthony Randolph could be considered a more effective freshman big in that span.

Naz haters on here are retards. He has potential to be a great small ball 5 or a regular four if he improves ball handling.

The fact is Naz was the 18th ranked player in his class yet finished 7th in rebounding and 12th in scoring out of that group. That’s the definition of outperforming expectations yet he receives more hate than any LSU player outside of Simmons. If you compare him to every other freshman big in the last 25 years he ranks 2nd in scoring and FT%, 4th in rebounds, and 1st in 3s made and 3pt%. That list includes Stromile Swift, Brandon Bass, Glen Davis, Anthony Randolph, Johnny Obryant 3, Jordan Mickey and Jerrell Martin among others. His team also made it to the sweet 16 without its coach so to say he was a bust or not any good is just ignorant.

You can't litigate with stupidity. Some people are just too dumb to understand a dang thing. Probably one of the same ones who said Naz didn't get drafted because he wasn't any good. Now that he has proven himself these morons have nothing intelligent to offer.

Exactly, he has a long way to go. Can't walk and chew gum at the same time. He was ineffective against college players, heck he cannot even fathom what a pivot foot is or how to use it. It will be a work in progress for the NBA, unless he gets coached up

Reid cannot use a pivot foot, cannot make under control moves down low, weak hands and turns the ball over a lot, is useless down low with back against the defender or straight at him, etc. And Simmons almost avg a triple double already in his NBA career and just got gazillions of $ per year.
Way better than Simmons is a justification to get you some medical help immediately

Threads like these are what makes me believe the people who say we have the worst fans in college sports. Any chance some of you get to shite on a player, and you take it. Pathetic. Anyone who thinks Naz was not a solid FRESHMAN basketball player for us should never comment on another basketball post.
