NCAA has been winning nearly every 2022 5 in 5 case.

They also picked up another favorable ruling today in the Ohio case, which was the original 5-for-5.

It's likely that LSU won't have Clark, Luis, or the 4 internationals when the scrimmage McNeese next Thursday.

They’ve been practicing with the team. I don’t see why they can’t play in a scrimmage unless they get a ruling before then

I don't know what the timeline on the internationals will be, but I don't see any reason Ruzik shouldn't be eligible to play.

Why does eligibility even matter for a scrimmage

I thought Dent and Clark were similar situations. Is Dent off the table too?

They were in different lawsuits. And one of them (not sure which) never pursued any level of pro basketball. I don't know if that makes a difference with this particular ruling, just listing out a difference between the two situations.

But the SEC doesn't recognize NCAA. See Trindad. Just get a TRO from a local judge...

Why would they still play in a scrimmage if they won't be able to play in the regular season?

I don't know if that is correct. Reports say he voluntarily dismissed his claims in that case. Either way, it's not hard to see which way the wind is blowing. It's likely that most of these TROs and preliminary injunctions get stayed at some point during the season.

I do feel like California cases which I believe is Dent will be more likely to go Students way, just a feeling with how CA tend to lean legally.
