But he isn’t doing this to “test the nba”.
I don't think he's good enough to play in the NBA either. However, it's VERY possible that, because the NBA is a dream of his, Mays wants to see for himself where he stacks up...and get into the camps.
He may disagree with us and think he has a 1% chance. And, that's where this may come from. I'd say there is a better chance of that being the case than him "plotting to put pressure on the administration."

I remember Will Wade saying he would be a good professional, during one of the post game interviews, that Mays had done well in...so this is not a spur of the moment thought. I would think Mays had talked to Will Wade about going pro.

It sure seems more than logical that he's just testing the Waters (not the Tre Waters), but I'm a bit confused with the farewell letter, if that's the case.
I don't remember seeing that from someone who was just trying to get a draft grade, but I sure hope that's all it is. I never dreamed we'd be losing him, too, after the season.

This one doesn’t make much sense and I’ve heard he might just want an evaluation but you don’t have to declare to get one. The letter to fans makes it seem real but Skyler won’t be drafted and is still in school. Is it possible that this is a scare tactic to try and force the admin to reinstate Wade?
