What truly amazes me is I would be willing to bet CV has taken more 15-17 ft jumpers than BS has and probably even made more than BS has even attempted.
Simmons is 12 for 35 on jumpers. On every other type of shot, he's shooting 81% with his right hand, and 15% with his left.

He should hit 2-3 a game from inside the key...defenders leave him wide open.

I don't see the lottery pick hype. Not yet. Just being honest.

But he's right.

I've said this since the beginning of the season. Players who are going high in the first round of the draft are normally dominant. That can never be said of Ben. He may have the talent, but he doesn't have the strength, or mentality to dominate on the floor.

when he develops that shot he'll be almost unguardable. They will have to play him for the jump shot instead of collapsing waiting for him to slash to the rim. With the jump shot he can blow by them for a dunk.

I see the lottery pick hype but not the definite number one pick hype. I would love to know if any of the scouts and GMs have rated him higher or lower after seeing his game in college.

How and why?

For one, he won't stay 6'10" 225 forever. He'll also kick it out to shooters that will make open shots.

I'm always in awe of how often Simmons gets the ball to the right guy in a good spot. We aren't a great shooting team yet Simmons is still getting a ton of assists.

I can't wait until Simmons suits up in the NBA next year. This reminds me of how many people said LF7 was overrated. Anyone who watched him play as a freshman could see he was going to be special. The same is true for Simmons.

Simmons is immensely talented without a doubt. He seems to just be going with the flow and using this season as a springboard into the NBA. The hunger and passion just is not visible. Based on his play this season, the NBA is going to eat him alive. I would prefer him to take this team on his shoulders and be a leader. As for CJJ, he would not be missed.

I think it will be a while before LSU basketball gets another player of his caliber.

LSU has had some good players. Brandon Bass, Glenn Davis, Tyrus Thomas, Anthony Randolph, Martin and Mickey.

He obviously posts here.

Stephen A Smith said he wouldn't lay all the blame for LSU basketball failures on Simmons, He also said Johnny Jones should take a great deal of the blame.

He obviously posts here and has dozens of alters.
