How would they reissue/reassign our tickets in such a short amount of time?
ETA: I think this would be a great idea, also fans that paid more should get a full refund!

No we are high and dry here in DFW. Harvey is heading towards Lufkin when it makes the turn north which is far east Texas. At worst, we will have maybe 1-2 inches of rain.

Not how it works.
Original tix will be refunded the new tix will have to be purchased just like any event.

Haha they won't be coming to Houston bro. Have you heard of Harvey?

NOLA may be in a situation with the pumps as well if this thing lingers and drifts east. I'll say it ends up in Dallas

No chance it's in Dallas.
I don't see any scenario where it's not New Orleans or Provo. They're going to monitor the storm and see how far east it tracks. They said they need to let the Superdome management know by Tuesday. If it's looking like Nola is good, they'll play there. If the storm keeps tracking east, they won't.
Houston is catching the smallest of breaks, it seems. The center of the storm was looking like it was going to pass directly through Houston. Now, it's looking like it's gonna slide 50 miles east of Houston. But the more east it comes, the worse things could get in Louisiana.

Eh most hotels are probably pretty booked up anyway, next weekend is decadence in NOLA.
So you think they take up more rooms than Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, or Sugar/Super Bowl events??? Cmon dude...

I said most not all.
There are alot of rooms, I checked but they are booking fast

The hotels are definitely booking up fast. I've been comparing hotels for the last couple of hours for our group and literally the availability for several of them went to zero in a 30-45 minutes. I even called to see what the heck was going on and was told that they've had an influx of reservations coming in starting this afternoon. Apparently there are also hospitality companies booking in droves because a few agents indicated that there were blocks being sold. I don't know how that all works, but I have verified this phenomenon even using the AMEX Fine Hotels and Resorts. The only hotel remaining with availability is the Le Meridian and initially they had availability at 3-4 others.

Use hotels.com, booking, etc. They all have rooms blocked off and avsilable

I wanted to desperately, but some of those are non-refundable. I wasn't trying to be stuck with 3K worth of rooms in New Orleans if this whole thing went belly up!

They usually have both options. Non refundable us cheaper.

Okay. I will delve a little deeper then. Thanks!

So I have a flight booked from Jackson to Houston. Should I go ahead and try to cancel it now? Is it confirmed 100% the game is not being played in Houston?
