Bech reminds of Hester against florida in 07, that is the heart he has for LSU. HE will wear 18 one day for sure.

Don't give a crap what number he ends up going with. But I would bet he will be a legend when his time is up here. He looks every bit as good as advertised.

Y'all are profiling like crazy. Deion Smith is a freshman just like Bech. He also has balled out. It's great that Bech is getting so much attention, but doesn't Smith deserve it just as much?
Bech has 10 receptions, 155 yards and 1 TD
Smith has 7 receptions, 148 yards, and 2 TDs
So why is Bech being touted as the heart and soul of the team, and Deion is not?

Good points. And they looked great against McNeese and Central Michigan, lets hope they continue that against some of the stronger SEC teams.

Well my reason is that bech has been a part of the game plan all 3 weeks and has found himself open every week.
Deion Smith had a great game but he came out of no where. So basically Bech seems like a staple already. Hopefully Deion joins him as a staple but he has only produced in one game so far.

Because Bech was an after thought by most experts like you when he was committed to VANDERBILT! A Few of us said NO WAY!!! He is from 50 miles away! He Uncle played WR @ LSU as a WALK ON & went to the SAINTS!!!

No, really, I liked the looks of Bech when he was recruited, but I thought Smith was the creme of the WR crop. That was before Brian T committed, though.
I’m very happy with all of them. If the coaches were right about Nabors being the lead dog then we are in for a treat.

If Peetz can find a way to get Thomas in the game more he can be a match up problem height wise against most CB's. I saw him play a few times in high school, he could start to take over games. Very good YAC.
