I had absolutely no doubt we were going to score a TD on that last drive.

I felt the same way.

I'll call it a draw, since Gamble was able to knock a few KO's into the endzone. Didn't see that coming.

I am guessing the Aggies will come calling again this summer to try and lure Steele away since they still can't do shite against LSU

One can only hope

Steele called one hell of a game, and I've defended the guy in saying our defense, talent wise, is a shell of its past.

Its really not.

Chavis did far better with teams of similar overall talent. And the secondary was a major issue this year and they were not out-talented. They were outcoached and blew coverages the entire year.

Steele was a terrible hire and will continue to prove to be a terrible hire. Great recruiter and player personnel organizer so lets move him to LB coach and get someone who can coach a scheme in at DC.

People claim talent lost and that is bullshite.

Is it common for us to have 2 true freshman starting on defense in game 1?

Steele took our defense and placed it firmly outside the top half of the SEC.

Godchaux started almost all of last year as a freshman and regressed.

Fair enough

But some of that is on Godchaux. Unless you think Orgeron is a shitty D Line coach

I think our players weren't put in a position to succeed at a high level.

Beckwith is a helluva player and has proven that yet was out of position the entire year. Same can be said for Mills and Adams.

The defensive play calling was just bad and the execution was even worse...which is all coaching.

I will give him the A&M game though. He stepped up after getting absolutely slaughtered the previous 3 weeks.

I agree with you on that Choctaw. Same with the shanked punts.

I'm with you here. It's a joke to use this one game as the sole factor. Our D has been worse all year.

is it common to give up 20+ points in 9 consecutive games?

4th best offense in the league. You can say many things about their team suck, the offense wasn't one of them for the most part.

The Little Brother Aggies will not like these facts.

I predict they come up with a ridiculous moral victory comment.
