Whose gonna be our MLB? Cutera is the obvious choice, but I keep thinking of the Arkansas game last year when I see him. An article in the Advocate said something about moving Kelvin Sheppard to MLB. I like this idea, because we could then put Ryan Baker of Kellen Theriot on the outside. This added speed would really help against Auburn.

What is wrong with Cutera playing? I saw a couple of good plays this weekend although he did miss one tackle.

Kelvin Sheppard would be the ideal choice!

everything about that game was a disaster on defense.

- Pelini's lack of gameplan and arrogance cost us.
- Players were constantly out of position

Well Cutrera played a shite ton last game so I would imagine he would be in there along with Riley on 2 LB sets, and Sheppard would join them on 3 LB sets.

I would rather have Riley move to MLB, and Sheppard and Baker join him. Sheppard and either Baker/Clemons.

Cutrera -MLB and the only LB on dime packages
Riley - SLB and will the other LB in nicket situations
Sheppard - WLB. Will also play some MLB.

I remember that play distinctly, but he did look like he had improved some. I'm not blaming him for the Arkansas loss. I am just speculating on what the best combination of LBers would be. There would be a lot of speed back there with Baker, Riley, and Shepperd.

I mean are we still talking about last years arkansas game? Son of a gun guys, we won the damn national championship after losing to Arkansas for goodness sake. I dont care who was on that defense all i do know is the guys returning have a ring and that means big game experience. You learn a lot and bring that experience to the next big game so lay off of 54. He will do a great job for our tigers this game and every game after. Go Tigers.

Whose Dunston?

Cuteras name has been slammed on here for so long by Slow and Earl that its actually transgressed to the rantards.....

He played well saturday, and everyone and their momma knows that cutera along with about 15 other players were knicked up for Arkansas last year!

Come now. Dunson is and forever will be in a league of his own.

Personally, I liked Cutrera's aggressiveness this past Saturday. He'll play a lot, but there will be a lot of nickel/dime packages versus Auburn.

The cutrera issue has been beaten to death. The ball is now in his court to prove us all wrong

Yeah, okay. The guy proves on the field in practice every day for years, earns the trust and confidence of a National Championship-winning coaching staff, plays for one of the top college football teams in the country, has a National Championship ring . . . and he's got something to prove to you?

Wow. Just, wow.
