It’s weird that BK seems to prefer chaotic scrambling given his personality.
He doesn’t prefer it, but he’s hamstrung with the current OL situation. I was at the Tenn game and watched him chew Daniel’s arse after every possession. He’s not happy with the situation it’s pretty obvious, but the other option isn’t better and you have to trust the coach on that in year one.

His past QB choices say otherwise.
Book just played headless chicken ball and never developed fundamentals which is why he was exposed in the nfl.
Then he gets here and inherits a smart accurate strong-armed pocket passer and runs him off to put a track athlete under center.

Lol you live in a delusion

People predicted it would be a bad choice and it was. The puzzling thing is Kelly being so stubborn about it.

I really don’t like watching him curse on the sidelines… lack of class

Add Foreverellishugh while you’re at it.
There's a few more that need to be added to the list. I would love to meet these guys just to see if their as stupid in person as they are on a message board.
Add this one to the list.

What mental gymnastics does it take to suggest Kelly ran off the QB he convinced to come back?
That would make some sense if Brennan was playing football ANYWHERE else, but he’s not. That suggests his heart just wasn’t in it anymore. Otherwise, I’m sure he could’ve transferred to an FCS school and played this year.

Don’t suggest that, they’ll accuse you of being a douche and a bully

There have been multiple people with different sauces who have said the same thing: that Kelly promised Brennan the job while going behind his back into the portal to find a starter he preferred.

And why isn’t he playing anywhere else?

Possibilities include
1. Kelly strung him along past the point of being able to transfer and play
2. The whole thing just pissed him off so much he said F it and decided to focus on his fiancée and family business.
3. He really is still badly limited from the core injury - this is what the Kelly pumpers want us to believe but there’s just no reason to from practice videos, interviews, spring game etc.

Wasn't there a transfer eligibility deadline this year in May?

Think about the rants logic when you ask that question. Kelly Ran off the best QB at LSU and there’s no FCS school he could steal the starting job from?
That deadline was to transfer within the SEC

Wut? I never liked the guy when he was at ND. The only positive thing I can think of I may have said is that he wanted to coach in the SEC unlike Riley. I was consistently Team Aranda from day 1. Napier as the fallback.
Let’s fact check your opinion when he was hired…

And that’s why the more I think about it the more I love the Kelly hire. He looks at Saban/Dabo/Urban/Jimbo, compares careers and recognizes the one thing he needs to be mentioned among them. He’s HUNGRY for that Natty.

That’s just completely stupid. You think if Brennan was so much better than JD or Nuss that BK would have “run him off”?
Some of you inbred feeble-minded rednecks should think before you post.

Good. That’s the sign of a good coach. You don’t think Saban does this exact same shite?

It’s six games, no TV six years.

I think a scrambler is a crutch for BK and MD. It takes a little more creativity to design pressure-beaters for a pocket passer, but the returns are often higher.

We don’t have an Oline for a pocket passer right now. We barely have a fricking center.
You have seen a half a year of BK at LSU and all of a sudden you think you know exactly what he’s doing? Come on….
Even Orgeron ran a shitty simple offense until Burrow’s second year here and then he completely changed it because he knew he had the QB and Oline for it and he isn’t half the coach BK is.
Maybe it just possible that the people being paid millions to do this job know way more about how to run this program than a bunch of video game football coaches who post on a message board.
