Facts are that LSU matched A&M's offer to make Denbrock the highest paid OC but he couldn't sign the contract until it was approved at the next board meeting in the spring. Notre Dame took advantage of this timing and got Denbrock.

This is the point that changed Kelly’s course at LSU.
He hasn’t recovered from that loss and it looks to be accelerating.

Is there any proof of this claim?
TBob outright said it, but idk if anyone within the org said it.

It doesn't matter why Denbrock left, Sloan was a bad hire.

What if Mike Denbrock had not left for Notre Dame, would the Offense be significantly better.
Irrelevant.
Notre Dame outbid us because we were still paying for O not to coach.
We’ll now be able to afford a better OC when we finish paying off O in December.

If LSU was able to outbid Notre Dame, it would have been an easy wait. We couldn’t.

Yes, Denbrock was a oline coach early in his career too.
