Facts are that LSU matched A&M's offer to make Denbrock the highest paid OC but he couldn't sign the contract until it was approved at the next board meeting in the spring. Notre Dame took advantage of this timing and got Denbrock.

This is the point that changed Kelly’s course at LSU.

He hasn’t recovered from that loss and it looks to be accelerating.

It doesn't matter why Denbrock left, Sloan was a bad hire.

Irrelevant.

Notre Dame outbid us because we were still paying for O not to coach.

We’ll now be able to afford a better OC when we finish paying off O in December.

If LSU was able to outbid Notre Dame, it would have been an easy wait. We couldn’t.

Yes, Denbrock was a oline coach early in his career too.
