I don’t think you know what claiming means.

I do think it would be pretty soft if he is so distraught because of one jackass that he feels unsafe. Obviously a racist event occurred

And we all know racism is just a small inconsequential inconvience. Racism has never killed or maimed anyone. Those who suffer from it and complain are obviously soft. Most racists are actually good people. Just get over racism why don’t ya. No one wants to hear about your racist encounters. And stop playing the race card.

And you know this how? Wasn’t the same thing said about Kyler Murray and his father? You know. The guy that just won the Heisman.

I’d wager you’ve never met Fields or his father, know no one whose has met them and have no inside knowledge about them whatsoever. Yet, here you are denigrating their character. I believe that says more about you than them

Putting LSU on the list gets us all clicking and writing. First, LSU needs to get a legit QB Coach and be endorsed by people like Quincy Avery who is regarded as the best QB Coach/Trainer in the business.

Sounds like LSU should hire Avery as QB coach.

If he claims racism he should have to transfer to a SWAC school.

Typical. You MFers are a special breed.

I’m sure the SWAC would love for all black players who experience racism to attend its schools. Sort of like it used to be when the best black players like the Walker Paytons, Jerry Rices, Too Tall Jones, Deacon Jones, Everton Walls, Michael Stratham, Aeneas Williams, Doug Williams, James Harris, Steve McNair, Lem Barney, Mel Blount, Buck Buchanan, Bob Hayes, Shannon Sharpe, Harry Carson, Richard Dent, Charlie Joiner, Leroy Kelly, Larry Little, Art Shell, John Stallworth, Rayfiejd Wright and numerous others attended HBCUs. If you don’t know those names check out the NFL Hall of Fame.

If Fields is eligible to play right away he will want to go to a team that pretty much guarantees he starts right away. I don’t see how LSU can tell him that with Burrow returning.

I must have missed where Burrow ended up being a superstar. Can you tell me which game I need to watch to see that? Fields would absolutely start over Burrow.

Burrow provided useful this year, but Fields is a once a decade (2 decades in LSU's case) kind of recruit.

Look, they beat us, but they're the better team. We were better on that day.

There is no "claiming", it happened
Well, if the whole, "there's racism there" claim stands up because of one moron, then literally every kid or every race in every school in American can make the claim.

Don't get upset over the moronic few. Truth is, all of this argument is over false information. He is only trying to get a waiver bc of racism because it is tee'd up for him by the NCAA. He hasn't said he was racially attacked he is only using the tools that Georgia baseball gave him. And he is only doing this to avoid sitting out one full year. I don't know why anyone is bitching about this, if he comes here don't you want him to be able to play the first year?

I love words like "absolutely" applied here because they're retarded.

MAYBE Fields ends up better. But the world is full of can't miss guys who missed. Until he's proven it IN COLLEGE, he's just a maybe.

And spare me his 2018 stats. 90% of his stats this year were against the scrubs on UGAs schedule. The rest were in mop up duty.

I love the word "ignorance" because it applies here, LSU takes Fields, it doesn't ignore the consensus top rated QB in high school.

You use the word ignorance and then bring up something I didn't say. I never said I was you shouldn't take fields. they absolutely should if they have the chance. I just laughed at the idea that he would absolutely start over Burrow next year

You do know that that exact mentality is why this kid is looking for a new place. Georgia wasn't going to ignore it either...

Probably. But here’s the thing. Who cares in this case. It’s not like he’s using this “racism” to get free money for life paid for by the taxpayers or anything shady or illegal. He’s using it to get a college transfer with immediate playing eligibility. Something he should probably be able to do anyway but can’t due to stupid restriction put on him as a student athlete that is not put on any other student.

So a once in a decade player can't win a job? Oh, wait, I get it. The guy LSU doesn't have is always better than the ones they do.

Fromm, the guy he would have to replace, threw for 300 yards and 3 TDs vs Bama. He scored more in that game than we've scored in the last 3 vs Bama.

Fromm finished his true freshman year with 62% cmp 2612 cards 9.0 ypa 24 TDs 7 ints with 3 more rush TDs.

Fromm in 13 games this year 68% 2537 yards 9.3 ypa 27 TDs 5 ints

Now tell me why would any sane coach replace his guy if he's putting up numbers like this?

A guy who couldn’t “win the job” is literally the starting QB at LSU right now..
