Heading in Friday from Nola. Will try to make the Friday game in a addition to Saturday night. That Texas game should have a shite ton of people.

For anyone making the trip..food wise in downtown/east downtown

My recommendations
Pizza - Tiny Champions..also Angie's (food truck @ 8th wonder)
BBQ - J Bar M
Italian - Potente
Sports Bar - Biggio's (in the Marriott Marquis) is walkable from the stadium
Steak - Pappa Bros (Vic and Anthony's is meh)
American modern - Nancy's Hustle (probably booked)..Theodore Rex also has an excellent chef..these are both probably top 15 restaurants in the city
Mexican fusion - Xochi, Ninfa's on Navigation, Irma's

Nightlife - McIntyre's downtown..pretty cool 3 story bar downtown
Pitch 25 - over near the soccer stadium with an indoor soccer field..good bar food too
Truckyard
8th wonder brewery
St Arnold's brewery

Best food around the city: LINK

Entry Protocol

Fans may enter the ballpark through the South Home Plate Entrance, Home Plate Entrance & Premium Entrance.
Tickets will be available in the MLB Ballpark app for entry.
No Re-Entry.

Got this from the website. Don't know if they'll make exceptions. Pretty shitty for someone who wants to catch a little bit of multiple games to be stuck in the ballpark for 10+ hours

Its a hell of a trek from Kingwood to downtown.

Man I plan on being down at some point. Found out this weekend that I am tasked with boiling crawfish on Saturday. I mean, its one of the biggest first world problems ever, but still may make it tough to get there Saturday.
