I do agree. It is time to move forward.

Technically this is correct. But let the internet superheroes tell you otherwise. They are the geniuses of the world. The rest of us are too stupid to understand their brilliance....

Is it common practice to take away a scholarship offer from a committed player if a better player comes along? If so that doesn't seem right.

We are "there". We finished in the top ten, close to a one loss team.
We have the team to go further this season. If we stay healthy, we have a chance. The same prognosticators who gave us no chance last season are now giving us a chance to win it all.

He, like Coach O, is defending losses. O said each of the losses, except for Bama, came down to one play. Im still waiting for someone to tell me how the UF loss came down to one play.
Posted on 7/28/19 at 8:24 am to CaptainPanic
UF loss was kicking a field goal on 4th and 1 But there were several plays in that game that made a difference.

Panic, your sarcasm meter must be malfunctioning today.
I know what he’s saying, just can’t believe some people are counting A&M as a moral victory. And, claiming themselves to be realists.
You just can’t make up some of this shite.

So basically you agree with me. Cool.
I don't know how you get "internet tough guy" from anything I said.

Clemson arguably has one of the best classes in decades. Would take the top remaining targets and some reshuffling by the recruiting sites.
Not that I disagree with Clemson is a lock for number 1, but have you looked at the 2004 USC class?
They only had room for 18, but five were the top ranked in their position, 3 were second ranked, and one was third ranked.
9 out of 18 were in the top three ranking at their position. That is just stupid recruiting. They had a 5* center. When is a center every rated as 5*.
I hate those guys!

I didn’t think I’d see the day someone actually agreed with Panic. He’s a hardcore troll and probably an alter. We are talking about coaching here. What, in your mind, could O have done differently to win the A&M game? I’m not taking it as a moral victory, but I am saying it wasn’t his fault.

No sir this is NOT done. It goes against proper etiquette of college football and if it were done it would screw the program and Coach for a long long time. Once an offer is made it is held

I don’t buy all the “close to a one loss team” bullshite. I was commenting on another person’s post specifically. Said ZERO about Orgeron. If you want my opinion on the OP, I think he is doing a phenomenal job in recruiting this year. But, like others have said, we don’t win NCs for recruiting, they are won on the field. As far as it not being Orgeron’s fault, that’s bs as well. He’s the damn head coach. Everything, good or bad, falls at his feet. Was it his “fault” we won any of the games last season? You can’t have it both ways.

and he surrounds himself with elite coaches. He done nothing but make the right moves since he took over this program
He hired and then fired an OC after a year then promoted the TE coach who had to try to create an offense in an offseason. Now we’re hoping Joe Brady can fix everything, but he’s never done that before, so we’ll see.
